Not Gwenog, no matter what sort of conditions she made sure she was on her broom at the same time each day, building up her skills to become one of the best Qudditch players in Slytherin. Scratch that, the school.
Of course it was no secret that Gwenog inspired to be a Qudditch player once leaving school. Yes, she focused on her studies to keep her parents happy, but she spent a majority of her time on a broom. It was more than a hobbie, it was a lifestyle for Gwenog.
Striding down to the pitch with her superbly polished broom, Gwenog kicked her boots through the snow in an almost impatient manner. No mere snow was going to stop her getting on that broom. No person or odd weather pattern was going to stop the Slytherin from practicing.
"Gryffindor will be going down this year." She vowed to herself in a low tone as she glanced around the pitch.

Hey was out and about not because he had to be but because he liked to walk the Quidditch Pitch and think. It was his special place in many ways. So there was James Potter his hair as messy as always holding his broom in his hand and wandering about aimlessly. No he didn't have Neo or Siri with him. From what he understood Padfoot was planning a date with McKinnon. Not that James had anything against her. He didn't know her not alot of people did. She was however one of the girls that hung around Lily, in her inner circle that was great. He was a little lost not because he felt that he was lacking but because he had really upset Lily when he'd asked her for a simple date. Just one before she got married see what she could be missing. This didn't go over well, and he felt what guilty. He didn't wish her bad but he couldn't wish them well either. What if Severus had bespelled her. What if she was involved in this all against her will thinking she was doing what she wanted ? Some where deep down he suspected that Lily really did love the dark haired boy.
He glanced up at the lone figure on the field as well, and a faint smirk went over his face. Gwen was really good he was looking forward to a excellent game if only because she like him took the game to heart, took to it really well and loved that life. It was in her blood and he had no doubt she'd be snatched up by one of the leagues right away. Especially once schooling was over. She was only a fifth year but she already showed such great signs, if it was anything James Potter was certain of it was Quidditch. "Hey, Jones how's it flying." he asked as friendly as he could with a wave of his hand.Gryffindor and Slytherin would never be accused of getting one well. This went beyond houses this was the game.

“Fine enough that your pretty little face won’t look the same after we meet on the pitch, Potter.” Gwen replied with a smirk not even bothering to tear her gaze from the pitch. James Potter, yes he was a worthy competitor in Gwenog’s eyes. And even though the pair were naturally rivals on the pitch and in their house color’s, she really did admire the guy for his determination both on and off the pitch. Not that she’d ever admit it out loud but she’d definitely choose him over Severus Snape.
“I’m surprised you aren’t surrounded by your little cronies. Still, I am sure that your ego could use some deflation by being spotted alone for once.” She added with a small smile as she finally gazed at her companion with a slightly raised eyebrow. No, she didn’t hate James, she merely found their banter enjoyable. “I am debating how to begin my practice today.” Gwen said conversationally as she gaze slid back to the otherwise empty pitch.
“I suppose I could begin with a practice of my aiming skills. Wanna be the test dummy?” Gwen asked with a twisted grin as she shook her head in amusement. “Apparently most of my teammates won’t practice with me because my aim is to perfect. They are too afraid to get whacked in the nose or something of that type. But isn’t bravery what your house prides itself on?”
